How is reading time calculated?
Reading time assumes about 220 words per minute, a typical silent reading speed for online text. Speaking time assumes about 140 words per minute.
Does it count words in Hindi, Tamil and other languages?
Yes. Words are split with the browser's Intl.Segmenter, which understands word boundaries in many languages, not just English spaces.
Is my text saved anywhere?
